ALAFOTO runs monthly photography, design and artworks contest. Everyone can participate on it.
As this website's content is photography and similar visual arts, I would like to involve visitors in to extending of this site. It's simple. Everyone has a lot of various and really nice works he wants to show to the world. Alafoto.com is another one place to do that. So welcome and upload your works! |

RULES |
|
|
1. alafoto.com (AF) Contest runs monthly - every calendar month begins new contest.
1.1 API Contest is free to participate to everyone.
2. A Contest has no particular theme yet - everyone can submit whatever he wants.
2.2 Any obscene works will be rejected.
2.3 Everyone participant can submit up to 3 works (photo, illustration, graphic work).
2.4 The same image (images) can not compete on another month Contest.
To every new month Contest must be sent new work (works).
3. Participant must upload only his own work: photo or illustration.
3.1 If it will be clear that sent images belongs to other author, the participant will be disqualified for all future contests on AF.
3.2 All images remain author's property.
3.3 All images remain author's copyrighted.
3.4 alafoto.com will not use any image for any purpose except for advertisement of this one Monthly Contest.
4. A contest will be legitimate and live if here will be at least 5 active different participants.
4.1 A Contest will be off if here will not be at least 5 participants. In this case the winner will not be announced and a Contest will be announced off.
4.2 All images will be moved to a new month Contest.
4.3 Current works can be seen on a particular Contest Gallery.
5. The winner will be determined by votes and ratings of registered members.
5.1 Administration of the Contest will review all votes after the current contest is finished and will announce the winner.
5.2 The winner will be announced on the first week of the new month on the main page.
5.3 All images send to AF contest will be available on a Contests Gallery.
5.4 The winner image will be placed on the Hall of Fame.
6. Technical requirements:
6.1 Image format: .jpg (.jpeg) only
6.2 Image size: width at least 800 pixels, high at least 600 pixels
6.3 Images with smaller side will not enter a Contest and will be rejected.
6.4 Image (images) must be uploaded in to CONTESTS category current monthly Gallery.
6.5 Image (images) must have a Title, Description and Keywords.
6.6 Two keywords must be necessary: "contest" and current month, for ex. "april".
7. FIRST PRIZE: the winner gets an action for Photoshop: NoBs Softpack HodgySoft & the Softar Action from nobsphotosuccess.com. Value $ 32.94. See

7.1 The prize will be sent to winner via email in 24 hours after the winner will be announced.
7.2 alafoto.com don't take a responsibility if an action will not works properly on your computer.
7.3 ADDITIONAL PRIZE: the winner gets a place to put his banner on the front page on Alafoto Gallery for all month.
7.4 He is free to decide what website to advertise.
7.5 The address of website must remain the same all the month.
7.6 The winner must send us a banner according to our requirements.
8. SECOND PRIZE: the gainer of second place gets a place to put his banner on the front page on Alafoto Gallery for all month.
8.1 He is free to decide what website to advertise.
8.2 The address of website must remain the same all the month.
8.3 The winner must send us a banner according to our requirements.
9. THIRD PRIZE: the gainer of third place gets a place to put his text link on the front page on Alafoto Gallery for all month.
9.1 He is free to decide what website to advertise.
9.2 The address of website must remain the same all the month.
10. Porno, obscene, gambling, casino, traffic generate or similar themes are inappropriate to alafoto.com and will not be placed on our website.
10.1 alafoto.com is free to not put an advertisement if it seems contradictory to alafoto.com attitude.
11. The participant must AGREE with AF Monthly Contest Rules in case to enter a Contest.
12. alafoto.com is free to change Contest Rules or cancel a Contest.
12.1 If a new Rules or changes, they will be announced in advance on a Contest page and will go in to effect on a new Monthly Contest.
12.2 No Rules changes to the current monthly Contest. |
